Angel is a Senior from Brookston, Indiana pursuing a degree in Human Services with a minor in LGBTQ+ studies.
Outside of his involvement in the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board where he serves on the Administration committee, he also serves as the Director of Ambassador Relations and Co-chairman for the College of Exploratory Studies Ambassador Program. His first two years were spent on the Leadership and Development Team for the organization. In addition to this, Angel is an Emerging Leaders Scholar at the College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University. Angel is also involved in Greek life at the Samekh chapter of Acacia Fraternity where he serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chairman for his chapter, and served as the Co-Recruitment Chairman, the brotherhood committee, and scholarship committee. During his Senior year, Angel will continue to hold these positions and serve as the Treasurer for Boiler Tracks, an organization that recruits diverse demographics of students to Purdue University. During his Sophomore and Junior year at Purdue, Angel worked as a Peer Counselor for the Division of Financial Aid. Alas, Angel serves as a Teaching Assistant for HDFS 100 (Human Development and Family Science).
In the future, Angel hopes to pursue a career as a Human Resources Operation Manager or an Academic Advisor working for an institution of higher education.
