Caitlyn is a senior from Lake Villa, Illinois, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Management.
Outside of her involvement as the Vice President of Leadership for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, she serves as the President of Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), BMES representative Member of the Purdue Engineering President's Council and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for BME21401 Biomechanical Analysis Laboratory. Caitlyn is also a mentor for both the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Women in Engineering (WiE).
Previously, she was the Programming Sophomore Representative in BMES, a PCN Design Team Member in the Purdue Filipino Association and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for BME205 Bimolecular & Cellular System Laboratory. Additionally, she finished 2 internships at Pfantstiehl, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
After graduation, Caitlyn plans to go into the medical device industry!
