Major: Chemistry & Psychological Sciences
Christina is a Senior from Wheaton, Illinois pursing a degree in Chemistry and Psychological Sciences.
In addition to her involvement in the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board she also serves as the Campus Outreach Chair on the Executive Committee for the Purdue Science Student Council. These last few years she has been working as an undergraduate research assistant within the department of Biochemistry doing drug discovery research for Cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease. She is a member of the Caduceus Pre-Health Club and has also been active with the Purdue Bands and Orchestras where she has served as the trumpet Section Leader for the Varsity Concert Band. Outside of her involvements at Purdue, Christina volunteers with Mental Health America as a Crisis Intervention Specialist for the 988: National Crisis and Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Christina is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and currently works at Wynscape Health and Rehabilitation Center as well as working as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Highland Park Hospital.
In the future, Christina hopes to advance to medical school and pursue a career as an MD.
