Major: Agriculture Economics and Political Science
Abigail is a rising senior from Elizabethtown, Indiana pursuing two degrees in Agricultural Economics and Political Science.
Abby has served in a variety of capacities throughout the various organizations she has been a part of throughout her time at Purdue. Most recently, she served as a host for Rising Professionals in 2022 before serving as Directing Co-Chair for the 2023 Program. She has been involved in various College of Agriculture organizations including the Purdue Agricultural Council and Ag Week Task Force. In addition to her organizations, she hosts a podcast for the Department of Agricultural Economics where they discuss relevant issues within the fields with expert guests within and outside of Purdue. Abby has also been an Agriculture Policy intern with the US House of Representatives and is currently a Government Relations Intern for the Corn Refiners Association in Washington D.C. It is important to Abby to be a part of bridging the gap between the general public and the agriculture industry and is passionate about representing the Agriculture Industry on policy.
After graduation, Abby hopes to return to Washington D.C. and pursue a career in agriculture policy.
