Katie is a Senior from Indianapolis, Indiana pursing a degree in Brain and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Biological Sciences. She is also pursuing an Honors degree from the John Martinson Honors College here at Purdue.


Outside of her involvement in the 2024 Class of the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, she currently serves as the Vice President of Personnel for the Purdue Student Union Board, is an Undergraduate Researcher in a Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, and gives back to her time in Exploratory Studies by serving as a EDPS 10500 Teaching Fellow and a Student Ambassador for the Exploratory Studies Program. In the past, Katie spent her time in clubs within the John Martinson Honors College, including the Honors College Racing Crew Grand Prix Team and the Honors College & Residences Society (Hall Club), and served as a General Member of the Purdue Student Union Board before petitioning for the leadership role she holds today. Katie was also a part of CHAARG at Purdue where she learned the value of balance and self-care in college and beyond, igniting a passion for psychology and wellbeing.


In the future, she plans to use her love of learning to fuel her educational journey into graduate school, pursuing a Ph.D in an area of Psychology or perhaps a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling.
