Kinzie is from Valparaiso, Indiana, and pursuing a degree in biochemistry certified by the American Chemical Society with a minor in psychological sciences and the Beyond the Classroom certificate.
Alongside her involvement as president of the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, she is a resident assistant in Meredith South, chair for Purdue Science Student Council, mentor for the Women in Science Program (WISP) and Think Summer, and works with the Lafayette Transitional Housing Center. Additionally, she is an undergraduate researcher in the chemistry department for cancer and Alzheimer’s disease drug development. In the past, she has served on the Community Service and Education boards for WorldHealth Purdue (previously Timmy Global Health), tutored for the chemistry department’s resource room, and worked for the campus COVID-19 vaccine clinic in 2021.
After graduation, Kinzie hopes to attend a master’s program in biology before matriculating into medical school with hopes of becoming a gynecologist.
