Madhuri Vempati

Madhuri is a senior from Dubai, UAE pursuing a double major in Mathematics-Computer Science and Economics Honors. She is the VP of Scholarship for the 2023 Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board.

Madhuri has been involved in Purdue's Table Tennis Club as President and was a professional development facilitator for the Roger C. Stewart Professional Development and Leadership Department for two years. She has previously been a research assistant at the O' Haire lab as a part of the DURI program. She is currently the Treasurer for the Girls Who Code- Purdue College Loop and is the lead teaching assistant for MA366 - Ordinary Differential Equations. Madhuri is passionate about sustainability and mindful consumption. She serves as a student director for Boilers in Action.

She hopes to obtain a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics to pursue a career in a quantitative industry.
