Mariam Alyakoob

Mariam is a senior at Purdue double majoring in Supply Chain and Marketing. Mariam is originally from Kuwait City, Kuwait and is still getting used to the winters in West Lafayette.

Mariam’s current involvement on campus includes being the Advocacy Director for the Purdue Arab Society for the fall 2022 semester, and was previously the President in spring 2022. She is also the Executive Director of Diversity for Purdue Student Government, enjoying working with the other board of directors.

Mariam hold two on campus jobs. One as a Student Data Assistant for the College of Health and Human Sciences. Her other job is as a Wellness Ambassador for the Purdue Wellness Center.

In the past, Mariam was involved as the Inventory Director at the ACE Campus Food Pantry. She was also a Resident Assistant at Hilltop Apartments.

In the future, Mariam aims to pursue a career as a Supply Chain Analyst and then eventually start her own business.
