Nicholas Mori

Nick is a Senior from Washington, D.C. pursuing a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, a minor in Global Engineering Studies and Certificates for Cooperative Education and Data Science. Nick is also an Engineering Fellow and an Industrial Engineering Robert E. Savage Scholar.
Outside of his involvement in Mortar Board, he also currently serves as the President of GEARE (Global Engineering Alliance for Research and Education) Ambassadors and an OPP TA for their ENGR 103 course. As part of his participation in the GEARE Program, Nick has interned at Tesla as an Industrial Engineering Intern in Fremont, California and Tilburg, Netherlands for 13 cumulative months. He later studied abroad in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He continued his journey interning at Microsoft as a Hardware Project Manager. During Nick's underclassman years, he was a member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, and performed research in Dr. Cai's uSMART (Urban Sustainability Mobility and Analysis Research Team) on two different mobility projects.
In the future, Nick hopes to pursue an industry opportunity on the forefront of technology within the fields of Manufacturing, Consulting, Project Management or Supply Chain.
