Russell Kleiner

Russ is a Senior from Westchester, New York pursing two degrees through Purdue’s Degree+ Program. One degree is in Biochemistry and the other in Science Communication.


Outside of his involvement as the Vice President of Administration for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board he also served as the President of Purdue Grand Prix Foundation last year. This year he is serving as an undergraduate research assistant within Agricultural and Biological Engineering and a Lab Teaching Assistant for Biology 205. He has also served as an Old Masters Host and is currently a Promotional Officer. Russ is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and works for the Purdue University Fire Department as the PEMT (Purdue Emergency Medical Technician) Director. Russ currently works with Purdue Foundation Student Board (PFSB) as the SOAR (Student Organization Alumni Relations ) Director. During Russ's underclassman years he served as a Team Leader and Team Supervisor for Boiler Gold Rush (BGR).


In the future, Russ hopes to advance to Medical School and pursue a career in emergency medicine focusing on supporting the emergency services community.
