AMANDA WOLF

Major: Biological Engineering
Minor: Biotechnology and Creative Writing

 

From Indianapolis, Indiana, Amanda is finishing a degree in Biological Engineering with minors in Biotechnology and Creative Writing.

 

She acts as Vice President of Administration for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, as well as the 3-year President of the Creative Writing Club of Purdue, Executive Officer of the Purdue National Defense Society, and Founder of the student microbiology research team SABER where she also volunteers as an annual Activity Head for Purdue Space Day. Having been involved with Purdue research labs from Ebola virology to DNA nanomaterial semiconductors, she has also worked with IQVIA Laboratories for R&D, AgroRenew for process engineering, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the Purdue Data Mine for cheminformatics machine learning.

 

Amanda plans to pursue a career in biodefense and synthetic biology for human therapeutics design, security, and accessibility.
