LAURA GREEN

Major: Biomedical Health Sciences

Minor: Biological Sciences, Human Development & Family Science

Laura is from Indianapolis, Indiana. Laura is majoring in Biomedical Health Sciences with minors in Biological Sciences and Human Development and Family Sciences. A student in the John Martinson Honors College, she conducts emergency medicine research in collaboration with the Indiana University School of Medicine. Previously she served as a Teaching Assistant for HSCI 20200: Essentials of Environmental, Occupational, and Radiological Health Sciences.

 

She currently serves as the Vice President of Service for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board. Outside of Mortar Board, she is an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta, where she previously served as Vice President of Philanthropy. Laura is also the Director of Community Engagement for Purdue Panhellenic. Dedicated to healthcare and community service, she works as an EMT at IU Methodist Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center and volunteers with the Wabash Township Fire Department. She also serves as a Program Manager for Franklin Township Lead the Challenge, a softball league for kids and adults with special needs.

 

After graduation, Laura plans to apply to physician assistant school.
