Luke is a senior studying Medical Laboratory Sciences with minors in Biological Sciences and Psychology. Originally from Bangor, Maine, he and his family moved to the Greater Lafayette area during his youth.
On campus, Luke is actively involved in research through the John Martinson Honors College and the Department of Health and Kinesiology, where he works with patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers, aiming to develop a cost-effective treatment that can be used at home and in clinical settings. Beyond research, Luke plays an active role in the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, serves as an ambassador to the School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS), and is a mentor in the HHS Success Mentors program. He also works for Purdue Athletics as a Communications Intern for Women’s Soccer and as a manager for Women’s Basketball. In the future, Luke plans to attend medical school and fulfill his dream of becoming a Pediatric Oncologist. He hopes to support underserved communities and give back to the communities that shaped his upbringing.
