Shelby is a senior from Valparaiso, Indiana and is pursuing a double major in Agricultural Communication and Ag Sales and Marketing with a minor in Studio: Art and Design.
Outside of her involvement in the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board Administration Committee, she serves as the Vice President of Marketing Communications for PFSB, Vice President of Purdue Agricultural Council, Recruitment Chair of Shoemaker Cooperative, and is a Member of both ASEC Ambassadors and Purdue Lilly Scholars. Previously, she was the former President of Shoemaker Cooperative, Executive Director of Cooperative Relations for Purdue Cooperative Council, a podcast co-host for the Purdue Ag Econ Department, Host for Rising Professionals and Agricultural Representative for Purdue Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
In the future, Shelby hopes to pursue a career in marketing communications at a large agricultural company where she can advocate for farmers and educate others about agriculture.
Fun fact: Shelby is named after the Ford Shelby Mustang.
